Missions

The main tasks of the Purchasing Centre are :

  • Supplying orthopaedic products for non-profit or benefits controlled public and private providers of rehabilitation services, organizations and institutions involved in the field of disability
  • Placing orders with suppliers according to its Procedures Manual at national, regional and international levels
  • Selling these orthopaedic products to members at a social cost which could include a small profit
  • Searching other forms of fundings through partnerships and services to ensure necessary investments, regular functioning of organs, constitution of stock in order to face the cost inflation on the international market
  • Supporting and enhancing the capacities of members for a better management of supplies and its renewal through through the computerization of the management
  • Ensuring the respect of the charter of ethics signed by all the members. The content of the charter of ethics will be detailed later. In its general terms, it will comprise (implementation of a transparent management, patients’ management process, technology, access to cares for a greater number of people, implementation of training plans for staff, quality label, etc.)
  • Organizing trainings on the proper use of products for members
  • Participating in evaluation tests on products validity
