Access Criteria

Access criteria for members are the following:

  • Having a permission of openingof the center for public institutions issued by the competent authorities of one’s country
  • Having a legal recognition and providing its evidence/proof for private providers (ie Legal notice in the Official Journal or a receipt of registration)
  • Providing statutes and internal rules of the Centre or equivalent official document
  • Signing the Charter of Ethics of the african Purchasing Centre
  • Accepting supervision and sending reports/statistics
  • Having adequate infrastructure and equipment
  • Being able to justify all donations received through the Purchasing Centre
  • Laying down a transparent pricing which corresponds to the social status of people with disabilities
  • Having in one’s staff an adequate number of professionals properly trained in a recognized school
  • Agreeing to facilitate participation in call for tender and all forms of ordering of orthopaedic products of the Purchasing Centre and representing it if necessary
  • Ensuring the removal/reduction of the taxes of the products donated or sold by the Purchasing Centre, in compliance with the rules and laws of the country
  • Communicating the estimated orthopaedic products budget
